Today I went to church - the church I have been attending for the past two years but have never actually joined. After spending some time praying about how to serve people and simultaneously grow in my walk with Christ, I felt like it was the right decision to begin the process of joining Journey. I'm excited to see what life changes this brings!
At church I met a man from Uganda who moved to Nashville a year ago with only his daughter. I didn't get a chance to ask where his wife is but his family will definitely be in my prayers and I hope in yours too.
MUSIC UPDATE:
I'm writing a lot of songs and doing lots of co-writes! Half Priced Hearts will be playing several local (Nashville) shows and doing a lot of practicing to put together the most entertaining and close to perfect show that we can! We have a music video coming out THIS WEEK for a song called "Lacy Let's Go". Check it out on YouTube!
I bought Cali a "dogloo" last night. It's completely appropriate because she's a husky. She loves it : )
